We are very fortunate to have a fantastic, experienced and highly committed team of individuals running our very popular and extremely successful playgroup. Everyone on our staff cares about the education and welfare of each child that comes to join us at Tweseldown Playgroup.
Jane
Jane has been our Manager since 2021 and brings a wealth of experience to the role. Jane holds a Degree in Early Years Practice, is First Aid trained and has completed various professional development courses including among others Level 4 in Safeguarding, Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.
Nic
Nic is Supervisor, so is in charge in the Manager’s absence. Nic is well qualified in Child Care having studied to NVQ Level 3, she is also First Aid trained. Nic has completed various professional development courses and has also completed training to level 4 in Safeguarding, Health and Safety and Food Hygiene. Nic is the lead for Health and Safety in the setting and is responsible for printing the photographs.
Tina
Tina is another of our permanent and much valued team, Tina has been with us since 2005 and in addition to being First Aid and Safeguarding level 4 trained, has completed a Diploma in Preschool Practice at Level 3. Tina’s children attended Tweseldown and she was a committee member. She is our minutes secretary.
Sarah
Sarah is qualified to Level 3 with a Diploma in Preschool Practice. Sarah is First Aid trained and has undertaken and completed SENCO Induction and Induction Plus courses. With various professional development courses under her belt, including safeguarding level 4, Sarah has been an active contributor at Tweseldown for many years as both a parent, a committee member and now as a vital part of the staff team.
Louise
Louise joined the team in September 2016, but she is not new to playgroup, having worked for us previously, had children who attended Tweseldown and has been on the committee too. She has a level 3 qualification and experience working in day nurseries as well as in playgroup.
Julie
Julie joined our team in September 2019 and is a level 3 practitioner. She has a good knowledge of how we run, having previously been our committee chair. Her children have attended Tweseldown Playgroup too.
Kelly
Kelly joined us in November 2020 and is a level 3 practitioner. She is very experienced in working with children as she is a qualified teacher and has been part of the senior management team in her previous role in school. She is our SENCo
