We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you!
As part of our continued growth and commitment to providing the very best early years education and care, Tweseldown Playgroup will be relocating to the site of Tweseldown Infant School, Jubilee Drive, GU528DW as of January 2026.
We will have a dedicated area within the school which will be used exclusively by Playgroup. This will include inside and outside space as well as toilets and changing facilities. Parents/carers will have access via an outside gate for drop-offs and pick-ups. We look forward to using the other facilities within the school and school grounds such as the playgrounds, equipment and the wooded area known as ‘Beyond the Gate’.
This move marks an exciting new chapter for our Playgroup and brings with it a range of wonderful opportunities in a fantastic new space, purposefully designed for early years development. Being based on a school site will allow us to build even stronger links with the wider educational community and offer a more seamless journey for children as they progress through the early years and beyond.
As a Playgroup, we will continue to offer the same high-quality care, learning, and support you expect from us with the same staff in a safe and nurturing environment. Any sessions you have agreed for the year will be honoured.
We are working closely with Tweseldown Infant School to ensure a smooth transition and will keep you updated every step of the way. We will continue to run in our current location until the end of the Autumn term in December. We will be in touch in this academic year about opportunities for you and your child to visit the new setting and will be arranging a series of transition sessions for everyone to get to know their new environment.
We are confident that this move will bring lasting benefits to our children, families, and staff. We appreciate that this may seem a big change however we will work closely with you and the school to ensure it runs as smoothly as possible.
