About Us
Tweseldown Playgroup was established in 1981. We have approximately 50 children aged between 2 years nine months to five attending the 9 sessions run each week. We use the 10th session to update the children's "learning journeys" and plan for the following week using our updated knowledge to ensure we plan for each child as an individual. We are open term times only, in line with Hampshire schools. The session times are, Monday to Thursday 9.00 to 12.00, 12.00 to 3.00 or 9.00 to 3.00 and on a Friday 9.00 to 12.00.
Tweseldown Playgroup is run by a management committee who work very closely with the staff team. The pre-school strives to be responsive to the needs of the community and this is evidenced by the level of parent staff participation at each monthly committee meeting.
